- It was a slow process of going back and forth between two on the same floor. At one point the mouseover said I had too many dust bunnies pals, when I actually had none. I went to the other one, fed/petted it and then the first one gave me the option to befriend it. Afterwards I could also befriend the second one.
- hmm im having the same problem i have one bunny befriended but i cant befriend the other two and have tried many times maybe its one bunny per floor?

How do you befriend a dust bunny it is always grayed out and says I have too many?
You’re only allowed to befriend 3 total from what I understand and they have to be around for a little while, and you have to get their happiness up by feeding them dust and petting before you can befriend them. Once you do befriend them they will stay in your house even if it’s pristine clean. - Kimmer_one5 years agoSeasoned AceI had only one dust bunny (it's a very tiny house), but I wasn't able to befriend it. I could only feed dust to it once, the friendly actions were grayed out, the explantion was that I need to feed dust to it first. Apparently I had to wait until I was able to feed it again. I wasn't able to do it because my Sim started vacuuming autonomously and the dust bunny disappeared. I had already named it. :/

I have seen people make Dust bunny Farms. Make a one tile area for Bunny with a fence around it and lock fence and only unlock it for sim when you want to feed it and interact then lock again.- Lumiasta5 years agoSeasoned AceI was also confused for quite some time, 'cause the hoverover tooltip on the greyed out 'Befriend' kept talking about how you can have only one dust bunny friend per floor, and my sims hadn't befriended any, and one of them had been on very high happiness for a long time. Regardless, eventually Befriend option became available after a lot of petting and feeding dust, so don't be discouraged by the confusing hoverover text!

I have sectioned off a little area in the kitchen with curtains and a shelf above so Binky and Scruffles have a home!LOL
Does anybody know if you can befriend a filth fiend? Ive tried appeasing, petting, etc but he never gets any more friendly. Should I give up and step on him or will he eventually become friendly?
