- I would probably say Cats and Dogs but not being able to see their UI (trained commands, lifespan, and relationships) is sort of a dealbreaker for me, and also there are still so many glitches and problems with Cats and Dogs (at least for me). I really like it when pets are seen as family members, but the pack made them seem more like moving objects. City living probably added the most stuff that I actually still use, though, like the keyboard, singing skill, festivals, etc.
Generally, though, I like game packs the most. Parenthood is my favorite! "flintylime59;c-16245013" wrote:

Most, if not all, prefer the game packs, but I was just wondering what would be people's choices if they only got to choose from one of the expansion packs :P- for me its a tie between Cats & Dogs and Get to Work
- evilyn_378 years agoSeasoned AceMy favoritew is City Living. It's just the EP I use the most, I like every feature that was added though I think they could always add more. Most of my saves at some point live in San Myshuno, the spice distract is my favorite Neighborhood. Besides restaurants, the venues I visit the most are the Karaoke bars and festivals. I love the careers, I hope they add more work from home careers (any careers would be appreciated).
I really wish they would fix the Street table because I used to use it often. - GrumpyGlowfish8 years agoSeasoned AceUgh, that's a tough one... How am I supposed to choose between pets + Brindleton Bay, clubs + Windenburg, apartments + an entirely new kind of world, and active careers + retail? I want/need all of these things!
But if I had to rank them, with a heavy heart, it would probably look like this:
1. Cats & Dogs
2. Get To Work
3. Get Together
4. City Living
Putting C&D first might be ironic because it's the one EP I don't even own, but I've always wanted pets in the game, and since they come with a new active career and a beautiful new world as well, it's hard to top that. The only reason I'm not getting it yet is because I'm still waiting for bug fixes.
City Living would be higher on my list if we could actually build our own apartments. - TS12998 years agoSeasoned AceI say Get Together. This is the Expansion pack that fits my playstyle the most. I am a simmer who mostly plays a single sim, and hanging out with friends, going to the party, and enjoying the nightlife(even do I can't do it on RL lol). After a child in one of my familiy grows, that is where the fun in my game begins.
From Men's Club, to Mischievous Teens Club, to a Mommy yoga Club, and to a Mean dancers Club, I find myself having fun with this expansion. It is not just the clubs that makes me have fun to it tho. If I had to find my sim a new partner, I will send him along with his/her club members to the single nights at the bar. Tease each other, until they found "the one" play bar games, then have a date on the bluffs along with a dance party. Plus a wedding venue at the Von Haunt Estate with Ghost Clubs. I think this expansion pack perfectly fits the way I play the game. My only gripe about this EP is that toddlers can't be added but oh well, I still enjoy the pack :) - Makin' Magic. Wake me up when they build an EP for TS4 which is as good as the past EPs in the other games. GPs are very good for TS4, but not so much EPs.
- MDianaSims8 years agoSeasoned AceWhile each of them has it's own charm, Get Together is the one that adds most to long term gameplay because of the clubs system. And Windenburg is absolutely gorgeous and I love the build style (even though I do really like Brindleton Bay as well).
- Sigzy_298 years agoLegendI say Get to Work. Past the bugs, this EP feels the most complete out of all in TS4. With 4 different neighborhoods, the alien lifestate, a lot of cas parts, build mode, 3 new active careers with enough entertaining gameplay and retail system. Plus some new work related interactions, retail skills and baking. It also has a lot of new animations regarding the workplace objects.

Tis true. Thus far none of the EP's add as much as they should. My game barely expands.
