Best Friend question so irritating

Anyone really annoyed at how teens just waltz into your household and ask one of your teens if they want to be best friends? I have twin teens in the current household and on Saturday, one teen came in 3 times and asked one twin if they wanted to be best friends. The twin turned her down all three times as she’s best friends with her twin. The next day, a different teen came in twice and asked the other twin the same question 🤦‍♀️. Can’t these teens take no for an answer? Is this a glitch or am I just really unlucky at the moment?

    Well, fortunately saying yes to these requests doesn't cancel out our other best friendships. Some of my sims have a LOT of best friends thanks to this glitch... That said, it is a bug, the part where they barge into homes anyway. There's a thread on AHQ

    Once I had a spellcaster go to the Magic Realm to learn spells and then he went home, used the toilet, and as he was washing his hands one of the sages just walked right into his home and into the bathroom to ask to be best friends.....
