1. I first open a reply post,
2. I mark the text I want to qoute, right-click and you can see two small qoute characters above the text. When you click on them, the text jumps up in your reply block.
It should be added that I am answering from a computer and that sometimes it takes several attempts. (As with everything else in this wonderful future-proof Forum 🥴)
