I haven't played TS2 in so long that I'd forgotten about all of these. I do love TS4 but I've been playing a lot more recently and I'm starting to become a little bored. Even though I have a lot of expansion packs and game packs I feel my Sims always seem to go down the same route. Nothing really exciting happens because no one else in the game is that exciting to interact with.
Didn't there used to me more exciting interactions? Most people I speak to in the game are unemployed, they don't really do anything. The only time I see people fight is when I'm a cop and I go out on patrol. Otherwise everyone just goes through the game just being really ordinary. There used to be more fun. I want people to have affairs and jobs, and families, and fall out and make up etc etc
Remember when you'd get a burglar break in and if you didn't have an alarm they'd make off with your stuff? If you had an alarm it used to go off and a Police officer would arrive, they'd have a fight and the burglar would be arrested.
I used to like making loads of different families and leaving them to do their thing, to come back to them and find out who they were having relationships with, or that they'd had kids, or had got divorced. I wish there was a way to set some gameplay for families your not playing. Maybe when you create them choose some options for them, like what job they have and what kind of interactions you'd like them to have.
