Butler Issues

Butlers change. I start a game with a butler. Next game the household butler has changed to someone else.
Butlers are often kleptomaniacs.

I just recently dealt with the butler changing to a new person. That kind of messed up my story because I needed a male butler and all of a sudden I have a female butler out of nowhere. You can go to the CAS full edit mode and change your butler to whatever gender and age you want.

I also do not like that the game doesn't go on super speed mode if everyone in the house is sleeping except the butler. I pretty much have to watch my sims sleep for 7 sim hours.

I too have experienced these type of probs with butlers Right now *knock on wood* I have the best butler to date He is in my Vampires home, she uses him as a snack when hunting is bad. He knows he doesn't have to cook for my sim somehow. he fixes things when they break and stays out of the way. I gave him long gray hair and named him Riff Raff from Rocky Horror Picture show just wish i could give him a hunch back lol

That happens to me too. I thought they said there would be shorter loading screens, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I have the issue of getting the same butler in all households. It's super annoying.

Am just asking why does it take too long for the game to change from one activity to another, or am l the only one with this problem for example when sims is going to work and l click join the green diamond thing will spin for so long before we arrive at the hospital or police station or even to a restaurant ,while it's spin it give some advice how to play the game ,l could go to the toilet and back again and the dump green diamond is still spinning.is this happing to everyone or is it just me with my setting and if it's me how can l get it off. l remember in sims 3 if you click to go somewhere you just arrive at the place nothing has to spin like in sims 4 am l making sense. @aaronrulz I went to CAS and changed everything about my butler to get what I wanted for a storyline....but in a few days that butler changed to someone else.

I haven't played that household in a while. I'll check. I had so many problems with butlers. Have you had your butler change? I would get some relationships with the butler and then a new butler would appear. Then change back to the original. Change to someone else.

You could build a fence and lock the butler out. Personally, gardening is the main reason I get butlers.
