Butler Issues

I have a mode to ensure you always have the same butler, plus some other butler mods:

For the gardening problem, are you actually turning off gardening as one of the butler's tasks and they still do it? I have this problem with taking care of children, even if I turn it off, they still do it.

As for undesirable traits, like simstr0ng said, just turn on testing cheats, put the butler in CAS and give them whatever traits you want. I do this immediately with every new butler because there's no point in messing around with what the game gives you. They're almost ALWAYS mean, kleptomaniac or something undesirable in a butler.

Thanks for the link to your butler mods. Nothing I need at the moment but I will keep it in mind for the future. I do have Gardening disabled with my butler but she still keeps gardening. I deleted all other butlers in CAS so I always get the same one back after travelling; although, why they actually leave the household seems a bit stupid. Like you, I always edit my butler in CAS to get the desired traits.

If the butler duties buttons don't work for Gardening and Care of Children then there is obviously a butler bug.

I had the same until now. Then all of the sudden my usual butler was gone from the home and another one appeared. I had NOT fired the old one, and he was still in unplayed families. sometimes I can't figure out, what is going on.

I hired a butler at least 2 days ago created a room with a bed and everything and he/she hasn't shown up. I don't remember if I got a name upon hiring but it still says I have a butler in my services section. No butler in my relationships section, or in my household period. Can someone help me get my butler here or at least help me fire them? Thanks
