Can aliens get abducted?

Yes, they can get abducted.

Everything that I've read suggests that it is possible.

Does anyone have anything to add? Maybe another trick?

I've also tried stargazing.

Low chance, even with those things.
However, you can also try the microscope.

Or change the percentage change using a mod called MC Command Centre. There is an option for it there :)

Some other things to try doing are to have him be friends with other aliens ,
having a high level in the logic skill can help ,
having space rocks at his home ,
and using the " out of this world" desktop that is unlocked with the science career at level 10 to "contact aliens"

yes the can i had my male alien once get abducted and have a baby alien

Being abducted in general is really hard, like SUPER hard. I know from experience, I wanted my one sim to be abducted so bad, I had him do the science career, I had him work on a rocketship and explore space, I had him use the satellite to contact the aliens I had him spend time outside at night to try and maybe prompt it, I had him stargaze, he maxed out his skills and still never got abducted, took a long time and much trying but eventually before he became an adult he got abducted, using the longest age setting cuz I wanted him abducted as a young adult... I was almost convinced the only way to be abducted was to actually visit sixam, and gave up trying to have future sims abducted because of how long it took, and just went to sixam and invited a whole bunch of aliens to their house to woohoo... :l

I finally did get abducted but it didn't end with a "pregnancy"...dang it. But at least I know it's possible. I have had him drink two youth potions, because I want him to have his child in young adulthood for my story to work.

I also put an submitted and idea to the Idea corner....Lot trait of Alien abduction. It just should be easier than it is.
