Can we get burglars and cops now?

They should've made the town more interactive like in sims3. I haven't had to have a loading screen to travel since the first sims game. I miss having a car and cruising around town ):

Agreed, There is not even the need for something like GTW in this case, the cop career could work as the political one in City Living. And no, it is not redundant to have both cops and detective, Astronaut and Scientist were once the same thing, now they are each separated entities and i have no problem with that.

I would not trust a cop that'd just vanish with the burglar. That's real shady. :joy:

I'd love burglars back, and repo wo/men. My materialistic sims need stuff taken so they can buy things again. :(

Well have you ever actually tried to play a cop in the game? I tried that out for probably the equivalent of two sim weeks and then I quit the job. There were SO many glitches going on with that career that it was practically impossible to move forward. They would give you clues for the suspect you were supposed to arrest and 2 out of 3 times the entire description for the sim in question was completely wrong. I'd have to arrest three or four different sims in order to get the right one and it turns out that only one of the clues they gave me matched the description. Like they were wearing shorts or they were female.

Ugh I absolutely do NOT want the repo man to appear. In sims 3 i'd always forget to pay the bills because there wasn't a blatant notification and the repo man would always come and steal my furniture and mess up my house layout.


It's funny because I want burglars though lol

I'd be okay with it but I'd be disappointed. I liked seeing the car/truck come with the sirens and everything. Also, I always loved how you could free the burglar while the cop was scouting the inside. I thought it made for an interesting storyline.

I agree, I really missed burglars with their magically bags!

In The Sims 1, they ran off screen and it was fine. I think it would be funny if they ran from down the street.
They also didn't have FireTrucks in The Sims 2 console games, or The Sims 3 Wii (which was Open World) and it was okay.

As long as they come from down the road, not right in front of the lot, it wouldn't bother me.

They should bring back the Scary Music from when you get robbed though, not the same, but just as "OMG WHATS HAPPENEDINDJHDUHSDHSD"

Of course I'd rather they came with cars and trucks but to be honest I wouldn't be too bothered if they just came running from the edge of the world. I just want my burglars back!

I think the reason why we haven't gotten them yet is they're planning to bring them back with a twist (eg playable burglars and firemen and perhaps inter-playability with cops from GtW?).
