Even then your sims could still see snow and low temps. Even Oasis Springs will get a flurry during the mysterious weather storm (it won't gather though). I haven't played in Del Sol Valley yet so idk about place, also don't know about Strangerville but Sulani looks like it will be mostly free of cool temps.
I'll say if you really don't want certain weather effects this may not be the pack for you. The weather is a persistent feature, it is unavoidable and unpredictable (like irl). If you have cats & dogs and love Brindleton Bay it's basically a icebox.- DeKaythePUNK6 years agoLegendNope. You can use the Weather Wizard machine to skip the season tho. But your sim has to do that manually.

- PhantasmKiss6 years agoSeasoned AceI avoided Seasons in previous Sims games, but have it in this one. Like others have said, you can't disable a season, but you can turn off rain, snow, thunder, and the effect heat/cold have on Sims in options. I tend to play with them on, since your Sims can't die from weather as long as they're inside.

I had forgotten all about this! Apparently you can just buy it in outdoor activities! "SleepycatDSL;c-17117540" wrote:

yes, you can turn off snow, rain, thunderstorms and blizzards.
But they might still happen during "mysterious weather" at least it is that way with thunderstorms, I disabled them and they still happend during mysterious weather.- anthonydyer6 years agoSeasoned AceDarn it. I was hoping to simply shut off winter.
