- I got it thinking that was how it worked but no I can't. The Sim will look all loopy and dizzy but I can't drink from them. Bummer
- What mesmerize does do, though, is give them a dazed moodlet after you dispel it which makes them more susceptible to being a snack.
- Ayradyss9 years agoRising VeteranA good question. I'd hope so -- it seems like that's a big reason WHY you'd want to mesmerize them in the first place. A 'forced' drink without a relationship hit. (Hopefully -- that's how I would think it would be used.)
Don't know yet myself though as I've been a little hesitant to take the Mesmerize power without knowing if it's useful too. - when Vlad came the third night into my sims home while she was asleep around 11 PM - 3 AM he sneaked around the bed, then used command wake up on my sim and dazed her afterwards. In that state he bit her and drank. So I assume this is how it will work for our own sim vamps as well!

Interesting... I couldn't seem to be able to bite mesmerized sims...- There are other ways to daze sims. With mesmerize, it's not until you dispel it that you get the big daze debuff. There's also a trait that allows you to do an area of effect cast of every emotion in the game. FWIW, the latter makes it easy to kill people. +8 of a few emotions puts them a couple of interactions away from an emotional death.

Influence emotions. There are three ranks. First rank gives +2 to the emotion, second +3, third +8.
edit: Mesmerized after dispelling it (that's an option on the pie menu after you have someone mesmerized) has a better dazed debuff as it's +10 (I believe the snack stays dazed for a little bit after the dispel but it's not the power I use so I could be mistaken). It is also far cheaper to get and much lower on the power list. That said, +8 is good enough, and there's the added benefit of being able to influence everyone's emotions. It made toddler training a snap, tbh.- Luckylunayre9 years agoSeasoned Ace

The emotions stack with each other, so if you do happy then playful theyll be instantly hystetical "Zeldaboy180;15512725" wrote:
