Can you grow cow plants in hydroponic planters?

Yes but you still have to have a 8 X 2 space for them. I'm not sure about the length but if you go into build mode and pickup the cowplant, it'll show you how much space it needs.

Edit: Sorry I read your post as using the other big planters. I don't think you can, it needs a lot of space to grow.

The Hydroponic planters are the same as the regular ones, so I'm pretty sure you can. Haven't tried though. That is if you're talking about the square ground planters. If you mean the standing "wall" planters, then no. They can't grow there

Thank you very much for your for the info @DragonAge_300905 and @Kathykins. It’s the big planters were you can fit four plants or just have a tree in the middle. Got my cow plant to grow there but it took a good few sim days to do it ?

Oh that's good :) They always take their sweet time to fully grow :D

Thanks, that's good to know. I haven't used them and didn't know they had a center you could plant in.

I use them a lot in my recent gardens (not switched to those planters in all saves yet), because they are auto-watering. All trees can fit in the middle, and you can also place a plant in each corner (with the tree also there) but I'm not sure sims can get to all the plants, when they tend the garden. Haven't tested that yet.

@Kathykins every time I have tried to plant a tree and four plants it has never worked for me lol! Maybe now we have had an update I’ll try it out ?
