Can't craft jewelry from the Crystal Creations Stuff Pack using Crystals

 I am using a Sim that has level 10 Gemology skill, but I can't craft any jewelry that uses a Crystal. I can only craft jewelry designs that use only Metals. I noticed it when I tried to craft the Starry Sailor Earrings using Gold for the Metal and Jet for the Crystal. The crafting quality was Botched, and it was the first time I ever saw that level of quality for anything in the game. Now every time I have tried to craft anything using Crystals the interaction won't queue for my Sim.

    Try selling the gemology table and buying a new one and see if the issue remains. Also try testing with another sim and see if the issue remains. Travelling to another lot and back again may also help. Repairing the game may also help the issue.
