Can't fish in new ponds. Is this a bug?

I have built multiple ponds and stocked them with fish, but my go fishing option is still grayed out and the notice says "sims can only fish here once this pond has been stocked with fish. Place a fishing allowed sign and use it to add fish." I have already done that. And I have adjusted the pond depth to make it really deep for fish. Still nothing. Is this a bug? If so I really hope it's being fixed because my pond is solely decorative right now and it's very annoying.

So did you click the sign or the pond? I found that you have to click on the water not the sign to fish. Also if there are too many decorations like ducks & bugs (especially if the MOO cheat is used), that can also prevent fishing.

Yes I click on the water. I also removed almost all of my decorations and nothing changed.

Ive found that I had to move my fishing sign around in some ponds to enable fishing. For some reason the placement was affecting it.

Do you place it in the water or on the land? I have moved mine around thinking that was the problem but I could keep trying. Lol

I am also having the same issue. Haven’t found a solution yet. Hope they fix it soon. :(

And where are we to find this little fishing sign? I've yet to come across it in build/buy mode. Please, and thank you, in advance.

Had built a pond on one sims farm to test it out. Fairly small one. Sign was in the middle not too far away from the land. Sim knew two fishes and stocked then I clicked on the water and it seemed to work pretty all right.
