I try to take dedicated days away from the PC here and there so I can avoid burnout and connect with friends, so here are some delayed responses:
@blunote00 (about fertilizer decaying faster with long-term gardening) - No, I haven't actually noticed this. I have a long-term garden I've kept for many Sim weeks as I work on other Guides, just to see if there's anything I'm missing about gardening. I haven't seen good reason to fertilize once plants are perfect, although it could help them get to maximum value faster. I haven't done any timed tests yet, though I plan to. Someone told me they let 6 Sim days pass between harvesting and they end up with the 10x value plants reliably, so I need to test just how long it takes for that to happen and if fertilizer affects it.
@LokiSimsies Sorry you had that experience on our Forum. We do try very hard to have an organized place so it's easy for people to find information, and if one person asks something that is the go-to for answers on that question. It's easier to do with a small community, so I don't envy the Simgurus' jobs here in keeping this place tidy, given the sheer number of visitors. Still, if a Moderator got to it, they should have just moved your post rather than make you repost it!
@JanLauren7 I am glad the Careers section is helpful in that way, and it's why I'm going to push to finish that section first. I myself will want to be able to remember what comes ahead, and find my own guide the place I prefer to reference.. but of course i know all the addresses by heart. It helped me get lazy when we started doing good in google though :P
@JBAG521 Maybe in a couple of months you won't need the Prima Guide nearby, assuming I meet my goals :P Seriously, the digital version I got was very underwhelming. Maybe the print version's better...
Time for me to work on Secret Agent and the Culinary Career, which will leave me 2 to go :)
