One thing I am surprised by (and this is based on this list-there might be more) is the apparent lack on the variety of pet beds. Yeah...when I saw that in the livestream I was very shocked. I think I only see two? And both look more like carpets than beds, so flat. I don't get why they wouldn't add more variety. Very odd.

I haven't been in touch with TS4 news lately but I've read someone saying that the reason why they didn't add dog houses was because they think it's cruel to have pets sleep outside or something? And then they give us these pet "beds", if you can even call them that. I think my dogs would be so offended with me if I gave them what essentially looks like a rug to sleep on. That's more cruel than having a dog sleep on a dog house. At least dog houses can have comfy beds and blankets inside.

There's no source: the SimGurus have said nothing about why there isn't a doghouse. It's all been player speculation as to reasons.

I'm also kinda bummed out that we haven't seen any chewing bones for the dogs.

They were using the "show all" option so I'm fairly certain that's all the buy mode objects.

I see the carrier, and I think I see, like...a stroller? Idk it looks kinda like a big carrier with a handle lol.

Eta that I really hope we can use these items, but...I'm assuming they're just decor. :(

Small round bicycle tire rug and big (4x4?) square rug. Maybe they come in some pretty colors.

Yes, it's very weird. No high-end beds "castle style", or fluffy one with a fun shape, or more basic ones, only two rug looking beds. I really don't get it. Specially since dogs can't even sleep on the Sims's beds and there's no dog houses. To me a large variety of pets' beds was a given. I guess I should never assume...
