Cats and Dogs Buy Mode Objects

So basically they've filled the pack with mostly decorative objects? What an absolute joke this is. Can't believe this, a freaking decorative pet carrier? What's the point of that? Could they really not be bothered to programme in an animation where the sim puts the pet in the carrier and takes them to the vet?

But we have all those wonderful stickers. Don't they make up for a lack of silly things like pet beds or doghouses? Stickers!!!!! Yea!!!!!! (sarcasm)

I don't care how many items they say are there. I could care less if there are 500. It's the quality of the items we get. When half of them are decals and separated items of the same thing just different versions (like someone posted about in a different thread) it makes me irritated. We notice. We should be getting more pet items. Decals and decor only go so far. Im over the stupid decals. They need to do a survey before expansion packs about items we would like to see. I feel like their priorities are not the same as ours which is a problem because we are the ones buying the game, or they didn't have the budget and in that case I would've rather went without the decals then have them as filled items to bulk up the catalog. I would've loved some more dog bed options and a doghouse. :p


Do the kids these days love decals? Am I too old to play this game now? Maybe they are trying to market to a younger age. I'm just confused why they think we love decals.

I wouldn't have thought so. We were all kids playing the Sims once too and we weren't wanting decor all the time. I played the Sims 1 from age 8 or 9 and I still want the same stuff I've always wanted from the Sims, particularly a good game with outstanding gameplay. I don't see how kids today are any different in that respect.

Seems pretty silly to me that there's only 2 beds, yet what appears to be 4 different litter boxes.

I know, right. Four litter boxes (and why is it called LITTER, it's not paper thrown on the ground, it's plum), three cat condos and more wall stickers than any game has a right to have.

These objects confuse me. Cat person here and I don't think we need 4 litter boxes, multiple cat condos and scratching posts. Why not a plain litter box and a fancy laser one, then a cat condo and a scratching post? Also I hate the stickers. I would have rather had no stickers and more better pet related furniture/items. Some of the stickers are cute, but many of them are tiny, and some are just ridiculous(I saw one was a mouse and another looks like a mouse hole, and a cheeseburger?). I'll probably never use them. I've never seen a vet office with stickers like that on the walls.

I think they(creators) love decals. Yeah, they could be cool, but there are way too many. If someone tried to use them all whatever they were building would look ridiculous. It would have been better to just have a small variety of the best ones. A cheeseburger in a pets pack, why? Some of the pet items even look nearly identical and I have no idea why.

That pet carrier could have easily been a functioning doghouse, or even one of those indoor box-like pet beds(instead of our new "pet rugs").

I'm pretty sure the ''pet beds'' are just rugs that pets can sleep on, because you know making an actual real fluffy pet bed would require new animations and that's TOO HARD and takes TOO MUCH TIME for the devs

Aren't those curtains the same ones we got with the toddler patch? Is just recolor.

Yeah they are. I haven't seen all the swatches but they are ugly in my opinion. Lol.
