If they had given us enough decent color swatches (other than more kids colors) the first time, they wouldn't need to "regive" them with new swatches.

I downloaded some really nice CC recolors of that particular curtain set I use all of the time!

Not "all" of us were kids when Sims 1 first came out. I was about 21 years old and it was the first game I purchased as an adult. I can say that many kids want easy games that they do not want to work too hard to play as that is what my kids complain (retro games being too hard) about.

It's pathetic they're giving us a recolour of an existing item in an expansion pack. I can make some new swatches in less than an hour or download some cc ones.
They could have altered the mesh a little at least! I know the expansion is about the pets and I shouldn't care for a curtain, but it's an existing item for God's sake. It's really off putting to me how little they seem to care. It wouldn't have taken much time or resources to make some small changes to items like curtains. They seem to do well with making 100's of chairs...

I think a lot of people are forgetting debug.

Things like the laser pointer and teaser (I think I might have seen teaser in catalogue though) might be ordered from the toy box or online instead of the catalogue, or they might be accessory objects that only spawn when used (found in debug).

Pretty sure some past games you had to go into debug to find particular chew toys, tinfoil/paper balls etc, because pets would just randomly pull things out of the box.

Some other things might be unlockable via the vet skill or perk system.

We don't know these things until we see general pets gameplay, either from the team or early access simmers.

I can’t believe the lack of stuff for pets.

In the 4th row, is that a toilet I'm seeing?

Do we really need a new toilet in a freaking pets EP?

The worst part is that they don't look like normal recolors "for adults", they have paws and pet related stuff. Instead of creating NEW curtains for the vet clinics, they are just reusing the toddlers' ones. It says a lot.

My concerns were right, they focused too much on giving us the stupid CAP where you can paint your dog navy blue and put rainbows on it (which is an abuse by all means) instead of giving us more gameplay and gameplay items and interactions.

I love CAP! While I will play realistic looking pets it's great that others will be able to make voidcritter pets or alien pets. That's fab. What is upsetting however is that the ability to create pets has seemed to come at a cost of everything else. Especially so since they've taken away horses and small pets presumingly to give us more and not less content. :(
