We have curtains like the bottom half already, They are on a rod and some are a checked pattern. We also have valances. So you could combine them and get that look.
I've tried. Unfortunately, objects in this game don't match very well. "AndreaTheHero;c-16111164" wrote:
ok I went through and highlighted every item that a pet should be able to use, excluding chairs, vet items and the roomba, but i might have missed a few items as I can't see exactly what they all are.

Pets can’t use the pet carrier. That’s just decor. - Cynna10658 years agoSeasoned Ace

No they don't match and that has been one of my biggest problems as a builder. I hate when things that should match, don't. And it's always off by just a tiny bit, as if they wanted to get close but not hit the mark.
Yep. :| "Simfan923;c-16121636" wrote:

The pet carrier is not circled I think, the one that looks like a carrier in here is actually an enclosed cat litter box. :open_mouth:- Simfan9238 years agoSeasoned Ace

My mistake. I was on my phone earlier so it looked like the carrier but I see it third row from the bottom. - So excited for the roomba, the clip of the cat riding on it is just the most adorable thing <3
- SilentK0088 years agoSeasoned AceI am so happy about the new furniture :) there are several items that I can't wait to use in my homes. The ne new white kitchen chairs are the same as my parents chairs. Little things like that.

I don't care how many items they say are there. I could care less if there are 500. It's the quality of the items we get. When half of them are decals and separated items of the same thing just different versions (like someone posted about in a different thread) it makes me irritated. We notice. We should be getting more pet items. Decals and decor only go so far. Im over the plum decals. They need to do a survey before expansion packs about items we would like to see. I feel like their priorities are not the same as ours which is a problem because we are the ones buying the game, or they didn't have the budget and in that case I would've rather went without the decals then have them as filled items to bulk up the catalog. I would've loved some more dog bed options and a doghouse. :p
Do the kids these days love decals? Am I too old to play this game now? Maybe they are trying to market to a younger age. I'm just confused why they think we love decals.
Perhaps Sims 4 packs being inflated with decor make it seem like there's less interactive items?
I don't mind having more decor. To put things in perspective, sometimes I find it a bit of a struggle decorating houses in Sims 2 because there isn't much variety in decor with that game and I don't use CC. Out of curiosity, I counted items in TS2 Nightlife, which totalled 127, of which approximately 11 offered new gameplay. So this shows that we're definitely getting a ton more stuff to decorate our houses with. Nonetheless, more interactive items are never a bad thing!
Would be interesting to see what the ratio of decor/interactive objects is between Sims 2 and 4. I would work it out, but I can't be bothered :P "@NorthDakotaGamer;c-16114069" wrote:

I wouldn't have thought so. We were all kids playing the Sims once too and we weren't wanting decor all the time. I played the Sims 1 from age 8 or 9 and I still want the same stuff I've always wanted from the Sims, particularly a good game with outstanding gameplay. I don't see how kids today are any different in that respect.
Not "all" of us were kids when Sims 1 first came out. I was about 21 years old and it was the first game I purchased as an adult. I can say that many kids want easy games that they do not want to work too hard to play as that is what my kids complain (retro games being too hard) about.
I was 6 when The Sims 1 came out, but I agree with this 100%.
We're living where video games are bad if they have challenge, hence why the new Mario game is getting so much accliam even though it's the worlds simplest game.
