Just make sure you allow the game to finish the 'repair' before you try to play. Also, if that doesn't work you can do a Sims 4 document folder refresh. Make sure your game is OFF, first. To pull the game folder, find your document pathway: documents>Electronic Arts> Sims 4 game folder, then just slide it to your desktop. This is Windows. If you have a Mac, perhaps someone else can instruct where you find if, if you're uncertain where it is. Start your game and the folder will regenerate. Then exit the game. Make sure the game is off before you go back through the documents pathway to replace the saves folder and your Tray folder to restore the games you were playing. If you use mods, you would also replace the new Mods folder for the older one.
