I don't think it's possible aside from saving the sim to your library and then replacing the original with the saved version. You'll lose relationships like that, though.
Once you choose a branch, it's pretty much permanent. Using the demote cheat at the lowest level of the branch makes you lose your job. Luckily, I don't think any two of the aspirations require you to be in multiple branches of the same career.
