Changing gender for your child in CAS question

I changed gender in cas for one child so far. Was kind of nervous, because he was resembled both of his parents and I didn't know what would happen. But it worked perfectly. The resulting little girl could have been his identical twin, with longer hair. I only used that feature once though. No idea if you always get same/similar appearance or if sometimes changing gender gives a completely different non-family look. Maybe there's a 'go back' arrow if you don't like what happens?
