There is a fame perk, not sure what it's called off the top of my head, But it lets you 'pull an all nighter', when your energy goes into the red you can instantly refill it by an interaction in your sims pie menu. Also if you need to see to your needs, especially bladder and hygiene, you can take up to a two hour break, just click on the drone or enter the bathroom and it will power down, just click it again to resume.
It will even power down to give you a break when um your partner get amorous lol
Edit: If you need or want to go off lot for any reason, take a break by turning off the drone, put it in your inventory then take it back out and resume the marathon when you get to where your going.
Okay, that’s the exact perk I bought for her. I tried clicking on the video station to look for a stop recording button but I don’t think I saw one? But I will check again to see when I open my game back up! I didn’t even think about also using the drone but I just have her use the video station instead, lol... But maybe I could try and use it when she goes off on her break to turn it on? I obviously didn’t plan ahead. It would be fun to live stream her going to her acting job.
