Cheapest seasons?

So i really want to get seasons but i really don't fancy paying what origin are asking for! £34.99! So does any of you lovely people know where i can get a good deal from. Cdkeys looks the cheapest. Has anybody ordered from them? Are they any good/safe to use bank card etc? In the UK if that matters.
  • TEchnically you're still buying from Origin, but that's beside the point. I have bought both Origin and Steam games from a number of sites. My two cents are:
Of course, look around for a deal.
And of course, read reviews of the site before using it if it's not a well known one (Amazon, whathaveyou) AND more importantly, before placing the order, check their payment options (make sure they offer known secure methods).

I tend to always go with Paypal, it is easy, and Paypal offers an extra level of security because if you contest the purchase they might refund you even if the store does not if they deem the store being fraudulent.
  • Be careful with Steam! I've never used them but somehow someone got my CC info and tried to charge $600 to my account using Steam.

Yeah but that happens to anything, if you let your personal information slip.

Also, EA does not sell their games on Steam after Sims 3. You can only buy Origin codes.
  • I ended up going with cdkeys in the end, was the cheapest around. Begrudge paying 34.99, got it for 27 I think :D

    Sorry, bad wording.

Steam has not been hacked. So yes, somehow someone got a hold of (yes, Stole) your private info. But the question is HOW. Steam is secure. Their user database has not been hacked.
This means you either left your credentials "lying around" somewhere, or more likely, you had a malware / virus / keylogger on your computer that you didn't know about.

In either way, Steam did not steal your information nor allow someone to steal it.
