Both of my sims are in the freelance crafter career but their toddler got a phone call saying that he needs to pick up gigs. The TODDLER got the call! Must be a bug but I laughed hard.

haha no the game wouldn't let me, mainly because the toddler isn't employed. I went to the suitcase icon right away to see if the game put him in a career. But no. lol
So basically what you are saying is you would send a toddler that can’t really speak sentences to a job that would be way to complicated for them to understand for money how terrible of you. You should feel lowly right now.?
Can't speak sentences?? His parents are teaching how to speak! He's got this! haha- Since Eco Lifestyle came out all my Sims get popups twice a day about gigs even if they are not in the freelancer career or have the maker trait. It's annoying because it interferes with my immersion into the game. It's intrusive like the earbud message that they just got rid of. I can't even imagine playing with 8 Sims right now. It's bad enough to play with 2 Sims who get 4 messages a day. 16 messages a day might break the game for me.
When the pack first came out when I was playing a maker Sim who was in the freelancer career it was annoying. She would just complete a job and within minutes it would pop up again. They need to fix it. It's the main reason why I dislike the any freelancer careers. "CelSims;c-17552384" wrote:
Just a heads up, check your mods. I was having the same issue - all of my sims were getting a popup every day reminding them about gigs even though none had been freelancers. It was a mod that I thought I had updated causing it.
well can you tell us what you have? All my mods are updated and working perfectly fine so I don't know.- All my Sims, pets and offspring are getting these calls. And the Sims I have that are actually in the Freelance career? The gig calls aren't coming in as often as before.
