- Well, I certainly learned something new today!! FYI, this is the SECOND TIME my dryer has killed someone. Killed my last maid, and after killing my sweet girl, it ended up attempting to kill my new butler. This dryer is cursed.
Btw, @jadevk, my dining set is actually from @FurSimsOfficial! (At least the beautiful table.) They have some of my favourite designs, everything is so smooth. - @kurdaneva I need to know, did you exit the game without saving it? Or did you continue? :smirk:
- EgonVM7 years agoSeasoned AceChildren can die in all the games in the main The Sims series.
Because of the less things they can do and social services (that allowed children die by starvation in The Sims 1), children have less ways to die.
Here's the list of all the ways children can die:
1. Fire
2. Drowning
3. Sauna (Spa Day)
4. Pufferfish (City Living)
5. Freezing (Seasons)
6. Overheating (Seasons)
Surprisingly, The Sims 4 has the most deaths for children (please correct me if I'm wrong). Take a look at this list:
The Sims 1: Starvation, drowning, fire and guinea pig disease. (4 deaths)
The Sims 2: Drowning, fire, disease (rarely). (3 deaths)
The Sims 3: Drowning, fire, meteor. (3 deaths)
The Sims 4: We've seen this list. (6 deaths) "kurdaneva;c-16751975" wrote:

Is the dryer name Christine?- GreatBritney997 years agoSeasoned AceThe Stephen King vibes in this thread are the best. <3 I guess I never gave much thought to how or if children could die; I figured things like starvation were out because of social services, which thankfully hasn't been an issue I've ever had since TS2. Insightful and entertaining. I'd definitely rename that toddler and make her a pyro.
- Sam_XNE9977 years agoSeasoned AceIt's been a thing since The Sims 1.

just curious, did you try extinguishing self? Even when my sims catch on fire from dryer I have enough time to put it out before they die. - I just send my burning sim to any shower and you get the option to extinguish self. I've never lost a sim in Sims 4 to fire though. My house sprinklers usually put them out - except for bar be ques and camp fires. I have outdoor showers near those so they put themselves out when I click on it.

Is this NORMAL?!! I thought kids couldn't die from fire?????
My second-oldest girl almost froze to death, but she warmed up after walking into her house.
