It's really sad how they delete features like children drowning and that memory book thing(those things actually spice TS4 up), and even worse is the fact that they say nothing about deleting those features to the players..
TS4 feels like it has always been lacking something(like danger, randomness and personality) and deleting features that could actually make a difference isn't helping the game at all. I don't want to be 100% control when it comes to my Sims because you aren't 100% control with your life irl either(after all it's a life simulator). So if my Sim child goes for a swim and it's her time to drown then I'm fine with that. I like the challenge in The Sims games.
