Finally, someone is saying something about this its so annoying, I have a kitchen table, dining room tables and lots of counters in the kitchen but they go all the way to the living room to drop off cooked food. To me, this is a glitch that should be fixed.
Also now when they cook on a grill now they keep the food they just cooked for the family in their inventory, again annoying.
And why is it not an option to put ice cream in the fridge? The only cold food that needs to be in the fridge right away its no option to put it away. Sure you can work around it and open but why did they leave that out.
I have let a lot of family dinners and food spoil because of this glitch, Same with all grilled food they keep all 8 serving for themselves and let it spoil.
If they would just hire just one true Simmer to play the game and build on the game they may understand, how many glitches are adding up. It may be simple to them but seeing this all the time it is annoying to the one that is playing.
There are really no excuses for this, they should program Sims to use items properly, they just get lazy and hope someone will make and excuse for them or a Mod.
Butlers leave cooked food on the counter, why not the Sims. A sim can be programmed to do things properly as well. Instead, .they think or thats close enough.
