Conquered fears getting perma stuck on Sims
Another game breaking bug to look out for, if your not saving every five minutes at this point then you are doing it wrong LOL. This one is a doosy, what happens is that after conquering a fear, it will randomly plop back on the Sim later, but this time enhanced. Nothing you do gets rid of it, it's perma locked on the character
The fear I got stuck with was fear of the dark. So I tried conquering the fear again.... nothing. Reset the Sim.... nothing. Traveled to another lot... nothing. It was fear of the Dark so I was "OF COURSE, I'll get the courage perk and that'll solve it" ... nope. The funny part of it was I was crippled with the fear of the dark sitting outside during the day. This is the third major bug I've personally run into since the patch, you gotta try really hard to break something this bad... the masochistic side of me is actually impressed.
Has anyone else encountered this one? I did a search and didn't see any mention of it, but maybe my search skills are off. Thankfully I was able to recover from a previous save so I "only" lost about 4hrs of gameplay. When you breath a sigh of relief at "only" having lost 4 hours of gameplay... is that a good sign for a game or a bad? ... hmm gotta think about that.
