Easy answer I would want Preteens.

I want a pack that focuses purely on the Sims themselves, something that adds a boat load of new in-depth hobbies, activities, traits, developmental traits like from Parenthood, and so on, so I guess something like Parenthood, but with the individual Sims and their various life stages being the focus as opposed to parenting and family dynamics, a pack like this would make a good opportunity to essentially 'overhaul' the currently existing traits and emotions system that some wish for.

I would like to see recorders, saxophones, French horns and other new instruments.

The other ideas in this thread also sound wonderful. I especially like playing as a teacher, superheroes, amusement parks and preteens.

I want a dystopian world, complete anarchy, crime and filth with the challenge of surviving and then setting the world straight again.

Options of zoo or amusement park that your sim could own and manage like they can restaurants and vet clinics.

Natural disasters and community rebuilding after disasters

Superheroes

Sims being able to register their lot as a farm or ranch and be employed that way.

An interactive teaching career and/or being able to go with your kids and teens to school and interact there. Also optional schools for toddlers (preschool).

Careers in trades like electrical, plumbing, or construction (and no, I don’t think the NPC repairman covers this).

There are other things I want, like hobbies and island vacations, but those would be repeats.

@Ftm1942 The mother-in-law comment made me lol. I love the ease with which I can build basements in this game, but like you said, it would be kewl to have that feature used for something other than extra family members; I've always wondered what a disaster pack would look like. One of my favorite parts of TS3 ambitions was the firefighter career because you could also sometimes have to deal with earthquakes.

@Lomelindi7 I'd never thought about being able to register a lot as a farm or ranch, but I really find that idea fascinating. I'd love to be able to have sims run a ranch.

Also, I agree with your comment on trades; I would absolutely adore a this feature being added into the game--I like the careers we have, but I'd also like some more traditionally blue-collar careers as well. Construction would be fantastic; I've never understood why my teenage sims in TS4 can be employed as a laborer, but my adults can't have any job in construction.
