Also, I agree with your comment on trades; I would absolutely adore a this feature being added into the game--I like the careers we have, but I'd also like some more traditionally blue-collar careers as well. Construction would be fantastic; I've never understood why my teenage sims in TS4 can be employed as a laborer, but my adults can't have any job in construction.

Exactly! I like the careers we have but not everyone is going to be in those types of jobs. It’s always good to have more career options. Maybe someday they’ll add more blue collar jobs. Hubby is an electrician so that’s why I always think about it. It’d be fun to have more health jobs too like therapies (speech therapy, physical therapy etc), but those probably aren’t well known enough to appeal to enough simmers.

18th century Colonial America! From clothing to farming and just about everything in between. Sims gossiping at the local Tavern or Trading posts. Planting corn and milling it into meal, as well as wheat. No phones, no televisions, no radios, just pianos, fiddles and lots of dancing: The Minuet; the Dance of the White Cockade, or the Flowers of Edinburgh (a style of Scottish country dances). Sugar-stir pulls; barn-raising; corn husking. Log cabins. Tall grass, trees. At one time Virginia was a virtual wilderness!

For never-done-before, I'd like to follow Children and Teens to school, and I think Superpowers for otherwise regular Sims could be a lot of fun.

Maybe they could add that life events would change a Sim's personality traits.

examples:
a Sim used to be shy, since she started interacting more with others and going out, she become self assured and outgoing.
a Sim used to be cheerful, when someone close to her died, she became gloomy.
a Sim used to be a slob, since he started a relationship with a neat Sim, he became neat too.
a Sim used to be noncommittal, until he met the love of his life, then he became family oriented.

some say that life experiences shape our personalities, some traits could change if an event happens.
children could change traits easier, some say our personality is more defined with how we grow up.

@Flexono1 YES!! I completely agree, I hated that but I LOVE LOVE LOVE dragon valley and all the elven inspired things. It would be awesome to have a medieval/fantasy LOTR type pack. I think I would faint, lol. But it would tie into a farming pack really well, I think.

Spend more time doing other things and usually when I'm on the forum I'm just reading. Been a member since 2009, been playing since I was 11 with The Sims 1. I'm 28 now. Oh, PS. I love your forum name, it's rolls so so smoothly when you say it.

@Ftm1942 I've been playing since TS1 as well, and I used to spend all my time on the forums reading as well, but when I got here I really wanted to become a member so I could have a profile picture and what-not; for some reason those things are important to me. Also, I've found I enjoy engaging on the forums around here with people, and with all internet things, the only way to get something out of it is to put something into it. And thanks, my forum name is what I usually use as my gamertag across all games. Created it after my origin ID, which is why they're different from one another.
