@GalacticGal I'm a one save person so I never download anything on patch day. My save is stable. I've had it for years. I don't want to put it at risk. I always choose my current game over any new content. If it's going to break my stuff, I don't need it. >:)
Sage advice to be sure. But, I'm playing a singer Sim, which I cannot do without a mod. Oft times, I've set up a TEST save for that purpose, so I can continue to play. I have attempted to not patch in the past, as I have explained. The very next day the same 'backdoor' wouldn't let me in. I do wish EA had given us singer Sims along with actors, then I wouldn't be in this semi-permanent fix.
