I saw in one of the early access videos I watched that there is no negative effect on schooling when children are on getaways. I think it was in Cinderellimouse's video. She mentioned that you could send them to camp all summer if you wished.
Assuming the same is true for teens, it opens up all kinds of possibilities. I can't wait to see what simmers do with this pack!
(Unfortunately, adult jobs are affected, but you could use getaways to make a workplace for "work at home" jobs.)

If this doesn't impact school performance, then boarding schools are definitely a possibility. For adult jobs it's even easier. Don't give them a job and let them earn money through painting or writing, much more lucrative ways to earn money in the game.
