Creating your own radio station (without the songs sounding really quiet in comparison)

I'm trying to put together a couple of my own radio stations for the Sims, by adding (legally) downloaded songs into existing radio station playlists), but whenever I do the new songs sound really tinny and quiet in comparison to the existing sims radio music. Is there anything I can do to make everything sound more cohesive or is this kind of a lost cause?

I have the same thing happening in my game. Any custom music I add to the radio sounds much more quiet than the default music.

@GrimlyFiendish then maybe try what I suggested in the post above?

Thanks, sorry I missed that post. I will give it a whirl and see what happens. Much appreciated. :)

  • I would only like to do this if I could add songs sung by my Global Superstar, Rock Star, as that would be really cool and already in Simlish. :) I haven't a clue how to do it.

    This is strange.
And when you play the same songs on your computer, they sound better?
I did this a few times but I found it sounded good. I posted a video of a song I added to the list here on my tumblr (it's after the third image) if you want to listen and compare. It only sounds thin and more quite when the camera moves behind the box ^^'

Yeah it sounds fine on the computer, but put it in the game and it's way quieter and really tinny sounding.
