Question to EA_Cade and the team: I need to buy the new pack on Amazon. When will it be available there? On German Amazon, not even the Castle Kit has arrived.
Nevermind.
The pack is now on Amazon, but to my surpise I wasn't allowed to use my Amazon wallet to buy the code. Looks like this is only possible for physical goods now.
No Visa Card verification on the EA App, no gift cards on Amazon - The Sims is like a fortress, they don't want to sell their games. - LiELF2 years agoLegend

@LiELF: I don't see how this pack could possibly break my noautonomousphone mod. Except if there should be a crystal that disables autonomous phone use, that is.
The vast majority of my mods should still be fine with the pack and patch.
That's a relief @83bienchen thank you for letting me know. It's the one mod that is absolutely essential to my game and I don't think I could play without it because I just can't stand the excessive phone dependency.
And while I've been playing offline to avoid the update, there have been a couple of times that the EA app has tried to start my update, even though I have it set to offline play. My game was being a little wonky after that so now I'm afraid it got bugged by me cancelling the patch and I'll have to update and repair anyway. So I'll continue to use the mod, thank goodness.
I really appreciate the work you've done for the community. ❤️ - Thanks very much for letting us know about the University optional elective courses on Gemology @EgonVM :)
It is a great that Gemology has been added as an elective course. - EgonVM2 years agoSeasoned AceOh, it's great to see that.
Universities also get new optional elective courses on Gemology! These are:
University of Britechester:Understanding the Self through Gemology
This course investigates how crystals and gemstones have long captivated the imagination. What do we see of ourselves in these shiny rocks? And how can we use their properties to become better selves?
Foxbury Institute:Gemology by the Numbers
By examining the angles, edges, and cuts of various gems, this course will dig into what has made gemology interesting to Sims around the world for generations.
Besides Knitting, this is the fourth post-Discover University skill to get a optional elective course (the second being cross-stitching, the third being horse riding). - 83bienchen2 years agoSeasoned Ace@LiELF: I don't see how this pack could possibly break my noautonomousphone mod. I've been playing the pack since it came out yesterday and I'm loving it. One of the small details I really like is when you gift another Sim a piece of jewelry, they immediately put it on so you can see it. - https://i.postimg.cc/mkLYQZCW/Screenshot-20240301-144535-2.png

It would make sense to be able to put it down anywhere in the world from there ofcourse, but I wasn't entirely sure. Great stuff! ?? - The diamond earrings that Londyn made are pretty @DaniRose2143 :) Sims would pay more for jewellery created by a celebrity.
