I'm thinking I may also have to delete the Cowplant. It swallowed up their mother, (happily, she was spewed back out again). Sampled the third son in the family, not once but two separate times, so he's still 'with' us. Then managed to swallow the one who planted it and cares for it the most. Drat the evil beast!

Every book that makes it to the shelf has been redrafted, revised at least three to five times. ;) Your Sim knows this. You could always speed up the process by hitting the fastest button until the book is done. :D But, I do feel your pain.

Oh, I always hit the "fast" forward button, I have no patience to watch the Sim's back for five minutes. xD But I think I know what's wrong. It's probably writer's block, and it doesn't show since she's got the care free trait and won't get tense. :)

More like sloppy programming. I know what writer's block is, btw, being one.

I see. I just assumed it could be it, since they just stop with no explanation why when they suddenly stop, and won't resume for a few hours. But I'm no writer myself, so it's just speculation from me. :)

i know you’re feeling inspired, but that doesn’t mean you need to make a mess on the floor. and please, if your mother puts you in time out for making a mess, don’t immediately make another one as soon as said time out is over. you have a perfectly nice activity table, perhaps use that instead?

Writer's Block is a very painful and real thing. I have been writing most of my adult life. Actually started writing in grade school. I did go through an 8-year drought where staring at that blank page got me nothing. No ideas formed, couldn't move the story I'd been working on forward. Nada. It's painful.

I have one Child Sim that insists upon making such a mess almost all of the time! Really, he's a Problem Child. My guess is that since he's quite a bit younger than his four siblings (all of them about to age up to YA very soon and the second eldest is a Global Superstar, at that) that Adrian is trying to compete in his own limited manner. Still, he's had time outs, he's been grounded and yet he persists. I'd put him in the bin, but he's a necessary factor in the family. :open_mouth:
