So, how many have actually completed the task of getting this seemingly hard earned thing that is basically given away in Sims 3?I've been working on it while playing on and off over time... Trying to get it for that Ambrosia to make some ghost Sims living again... Without knowing where to get/ find and not having the Tomato plant (that I have been told when spliced with other things makes them grow faster) it is sure a task that takes a great deal of time to complete... Seems all the plants take forever to grow... Down to one plant I need to grow once I can harvest it, that is... I grow it. I don't really bother with ambrosia, though. I only grow the flowers to complete the gardening collection and not for anything else. I don't bring any sims back when they die, but if I need them alive for something I'd just cheat them by removing their "death by ---" trait via cheats then putting that cheat back on them when I'm done with whatever I need them alive for (which is usually for saving to my library or for pictures).

I think there's a couple of lemon trees growing across from the Shrieking Llama in Windenburg.Also, if you have City Living, you can buy pretty much all the produce (including pomegranates) from the produce stalls.As far as the original question, yes, I've gone all the way through the process of growing a death flower, for the goal of reviving a vampire that I had re-added to his household as a ghost. By the time he achieved the capability and ingredients to cook the ambrosia he seemed really comfortable as a ghost vampire so I've just let him be. :P He currently has 67 death flowers in his inventory so I'm going to have him plant some around the neighborhoods.

To get a death flower in Sims 4. You first need to grow two plants, a pomegranate tree and an orchid flower. You grow both until they are fully mature plants. And splice the two together to get a death flower.
Or you can go into bb.showhiddenobjects, and drag a death flower plant from there.

Yes, and the post above yours answers a question NOT even asked, as shown in the picture, I have the Orchid plant and waiting on the pomegranate; with all due respect, in that matter.

It is INDEED a bother, and that's why in my post I asked if anyone has bothered or if I'm the only one. And no, I have no bought any expansions, have yet to see one that interests me.. Oh, okay.
One base-game method is the whole book of life thing but of course you have to have a book for the sim before they die. It can't help you now, but maybe in the future it can!

I've gotten it once when I was playing a gardening challenge that required you to get all the plants except the Sixam ones. If I recall the last plant I actually got in that was the Trash Plant which I had a hard time acquiring for some reason lol. I'm going to be doing a file where I complete all the collection though I don't think the Death Flower is in the gardening collection any longer I'll still do it for sake of completion.

Also I'm pretty sure you can have a sim turned to a vampire in the game. I don't have the pack but I'm pretty sure if you get one of the skills high enough and have a high enough relationship with a vampire you can ask them to turn you.

Ambrosia has always been hard to do, even in Sims 3 where your sim needed to max out their cooking skill in order to even learn that recipe. And the book of life, your sim need to get permission to write about their life first, and then present it to them just before they hit the floor.
And is why I have never bother to complete these in the game.
If I feel like saving a sim from dying, I just tell one of my sims to plead to Grim for that sim's life is all.
And sorry for the whole mix up above. I read death flower assumed that you were having a hard time getting one in the game.

The same here, I too only grow the flower to complete the plant collection.

Just download ambrosia from the gallery under "rooms". You can get literally everything.

I don't really bother to be honest. I just went to mod the sims and downloaded the mod that takes the need for ingredients away from all the cooking recipes. Cheating, yes, I know, but I really don't like gardening much in sims 4. It just takes up too much of their short little lives.
