Deeply Wounded

Wow. My Patriarch had that. I never saw his wife do anything untoward, either, but he could hardly be around her for his pain. I did try to have her give a smooth apology. But the thing that unnerved me the most was shortly after I noticed she was the source of his hurt, is when we got the Story Progression for the NPCs. One of my Sims called Joseph to report he had been spending time with Louise (Joseph's wife) and that they made plans to spend more time together. He was asking for advice. :open_mouth: Made me wonder if things were going on behind my back that I missed. Oh, boy. Of course, Joseph responded that if it were him he wouldn't do it. No long after that Carina, Drake's wife called Louise asking if she, Carina, should spend more time with Drake. Louise told her yes. I'm thinking two marriages were salvaged when I had no clue they were in trouble. That's when I had Louise do the smooth apology. Message received.

Best of luck. Joseph is no longer in hurt mode. He and his wife are now woohooing more often. I don't often play the other household, so I can only assume since Carina called Louise back to tell her Drake was really cool, that all is well in my Simdom. Drake and Carina are the inlaws of one of Joseph and Louise's sons.
