Del Sol Valley houses nearly all look bad

That's good for you, but I like to play with premade houses and jump straight to gameplay, but especially the celebrity mansions in DSV look too plain, especially the 64x64 mansion and the Baily-Moon household. Also I don't like to replace all the buildings everytime I start a new game.

I've noticed with Expansion and Gamepacks that items and furnishings for their lots use the pack items to show them off easily. It is up to you to put your additional stuff in. EA don't know what packs you have already so use Basegame and that pack only.

The funny thing is that (at least from what I've seen) most of the furniture in the houses, even in the celebrity mansions, are from base game instead of from Get Famous and some gameplay objects that come with this pack like drones or the video creation station are nowhere to be found in Del Sol Valley

Maybe they wanted the Game Changers to have a go at decorating the lots themselves? The finished game might be different.

They were playing with like a month until release. What they had is basically the finished product, minus a few bug fixes shipped out the day before release. Something as trivial as a lots basic design is not going to be touched in the last 30 days.

I thought the homes themselves looked fine. Though, hah wonder how someone missed that from being off center though? Though I recall a gamechanger (Deligracy?) mentioning they were playing in a early build for it, so some things are liable to change.

Well, if it's a part of the lot I'll probably just move it over one. Though, there's quite a lot of space on that particular lot might just renovate a lot of things (Majority of premade homes get renovated or just deleted with something else put there.) :tongue:

Early build? There might be more than a few changes then. If so, it might have been nice to let one of the Game Changers actually build a house for the Pack. That's being famous. :)

The houses appear to be rushed, as if they were built the night before SimsCamp. Just compare them to the houses in ? Bay or Windenburg...

I think it’s an early version so hopefully they’ll work on it.

It's possible that they still time to change it. But this is not the first time I see a pre-made build with a mistake.

This in no way bothers me because there are hundreds of thousands of amazing builds on the gallery, this includes starter homes. I just plop those gorgeous homes on the lots instead. The quality of premade homes is the very least of my concerns regarding this game.

I haven't looked at the new houses yet and some houses in Brindleton Bay were cute but don't forget C&D also brought us horrors like Chateau Frise, the Delgato house.
It was massive but only had 3 bedrooms (each the size of a small San Myshuno apartment). I felt like I needed a vehicle to get from one floor to the other. It was also blindingly white. This was Maxis' idea of a cozy family home.

I still haven't recovered, and I know whatever awaits in Del Sol Valley, it won't be pretty.

To err is human. At the end of the day, people make mistakes. Great this has been spotted prior to release. Highly possible it can be fixed before selling. Let's not try to knock people down, shame them. It's a mistake
