DHD--is the $14000 payout a glitch?

My sim always comes in under budget. I believe that the budget money goes to her account when she gets paid. At least, that is the only way I can explain why she's getting much bigger paychecks than the gig is offering. It's something to try, if you haven't already. Who knows? Could just be a glitch in my game. But she's never gone over budget and always makes more than quoted.

Edited to stay on topic: I have never seen a 14,000 gig. Is this a commercial gig? Or is it showing up randomly?

It's for a level renovation. I've had several $14,000 payouts. Some don't work (since the sims don't like it). Since it's a whole level, it's a harder challenge and takes a long time to do, but still...it's kind of a crazy payout since the additions are only at $1900 payout.

However I noticed that it also doesn't look like you are getting paid much more for more harder gigs either? It's only one gig that is $14000, for the rest of the gigs you are kinda getting paid the same amount, some are not much more than when you were level 1 in the career.

So I'm not sure if it's working as intended or not.

The DHD pack is so glitchy so it honestly wouldn't surprise me. I guess the gurus aren't saying anything about it.

The level addition gigs are almost always broken, they don't allow you to add another floor. I have unlocked one level addition gig where they want to pay me $28,000 and it's impossible to complete.
