Different Foundation Heights

Hello
I'm building a huge venue for weddings and I need to do buildings in it and I want some of them to start from the ground (with no foundation height) and some of the buildings with different foundation height.
Is it possible to make it happen? I know that in the base game it isn't possible but maybe there is a special way to do that..
Thanks
  • No, but wouldn't it be lovely if the devs were able to put in a toggle, foundation on/foundation off and have it apply to the specific area of the build you're working on. Such as when you're placing the walls. It's probably too complicated a thing. I would love it, also, were we to get the ability to created interior platforms so we could have more freedom of design when it came to staircases. We had such in Sims2, it was awesome!
  • Only the ground level can have split levels and it is more of a sunken room within the floor. The depth is as far the height of the foundation. You do this by deleting the floor of the parts you want lowered. You might have to add a few walls here and there depending on what your doing, but just delete the floors and any walls you might have added.

I wish they'd bring this in. I can't make greenhouses because of the foundations. Hopefully they'll add greenhouses in seasons.

    That would be really neat
  • I've seen a youtube video on how to do this

I'd love the ones we had in sims 2

I mean technically you can make one where there stairs go up and the down inside.
