- I thought the interior screenshots looked rather dull, now I know why, Thank you for all the tips mentioned in the thread.

I will be playing this weekend so after playing I will tweet every sim guru about this. I don't think this is a difficult thing for them to adjust. Many players have expressed that indoor lights are not bright enough. its too dim.
You don't have to. I am already aware of this "issue" :)
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I'm glad now that you are aware. I can't wait for the game. Very much excited.
I and so many other players would really appreciate it if the indoor lighting is tuned.
Outdoor lighting is amazing, it is perfect. Just indoor needs to be upped more.
As I explained in an previous thread, its not the lighting per se, it's that we have different max intensity per lamp, like in real life. So certain lamps will be brighter than others. I do see how that can be problematic for some though, so I'll be reconsidering this and see if we should have the same maximum intensity for all lamps instead.
I like your Sims btw!
Thank you so much.
Do please look into it if something can be done. We appreciate your efforts.
I'm very glad that you like my sims :D - halimali11 years agoSeasoned Ace

I'll also look into the possibility of getting you guys the "invisible" lights I created for TS3 - WA, they seem to be popular/handy.
They are excellent for sure. It would be so great to have them back. "SimGuruMeatball;12590369" wrote:

It feels to me not so much like that the lights should all go as high as each other, more like that the highest high for *some* of them should be much higher. I like being *able* to have a dimly lit room. It's like the max is now a 60W bulb - which is fine for some table lamps, say - but needs to be halogen-high.
Well, that's how it is right now :) Any particular lamp that you would like to get brighter?
I'm thinking that some of the modern-style lights, especially ceiling lights and floor lamps, should be brighter. And thank you for asking :)"luthienrising;12590841" wrote:

Noted!- turn off laptop mode...save the game, exit and reload, sims should be brighter (normal) indoors now. sorry if this has already been posted. if you have a slower computer I would recommend putting all settings on low except for sim and object quality and smooth edges on the highest setting. this basically looks like ultra with desktop mode on without any lag. (and of course no shadowy sims)
- Rawla11 years agoSeasoned AceThank you @everyone for your tips and thoughts. And thanks to @SimGuruMeatball for listening. I appreciate the two that comforted me for getting the first post marked as spam.
- Thanks for all the tips! I'm running at Ultra so I just thought that setting would carry over into everything.
- Looking at this thread and staring at my ts4 ingame, I was wondering are the "hidden" bright lights still in the game? If not could those be added? They would be a nice addition incase you don't want to have a huge ton of lights in one room/section x-x. (well imo)
- I thought Grant said that different lamps had different degrees of brightness so you could also just try a different lamp.
