I'll very likely go for a bundle and/or sale for Discover University. The above mentioned packs are the only GPs I'm still missing and I consider them all Nice to Have, but not essential. I send my sims to restaurants a lot. It's fun to go on dates or take the family. I haven't run a restaurant yet but I'd like to try it. I have Jungle Adventures but have only visited the world briefly once or twice. I guess I'm waiting for the right sim to send on an adventure. I was really hoping for witches as I loved them in Sims 3 and have played Realm of Magic but honestly I'm already bored with my spellcaster. She learned all the spells and potions and now I don't know what to do with her. I'm playing rotationally right now and maybe when I add more spellcasters to my game it will be more fun. They can start a club and meet up to duel.

Of these, Dine Out fits your playstyle best, even if ROM is my personal fave of these, BUT, be warned that Dine Out is kind of broken. If bugs don't bother you, go for it! But, it's pretty much unusable for me.

The way you play, I agree that DO might be the one that fits best. That said, I only have RoM (which I personally love, but then I love the magic side of it a lot) out of those three and zero interest in JA. As for a pub, maybe having it as a bar would be the best? That might be one way for Sims to use darts etc, though I haven't tried it yet. It does seem to fit most though.

I would pick Dine Out if it's been all patched up. In these games I get so tired of my Sims having to cook, and really enjoyed this pack and having a lot of different foods for my Sims to eat. I did not buy the other two, since I didn't feel they were up to par. But with DO it was a lot of fun, like scratch this cooking, I'm going for a burger or lobster, lol Fancy restaurants that only served high priced fancy dishes and or hamburger joints that I made my Sim sit outside to dine. Waitresses on rollerskates would have been nice. Taking along friends to dine with is one of the best social things I did enjoy about TS4. I thought the restaurant pack was one of the best in the entire series to be honest.

@munroele can you please tell me what's broken for you? I go to restaurants all the time with my sims, though I haven't tried to run one since I first got the pack. I haven't noticed anything obviously wrong, but I do use a lot of mods to fix bugs and tune the game how I want it. I send my sims to restaurants a lot. It's fun to go on dates or take the family. I haven't run a restaurant yet but I'd like to try it. Thank you everyone for your input so far! Looks like it will be Dine Out. I didn't seriously consider this pack when it released, because back then I didn't play with Aging off and was "scared" by sims wasting a whole day for restaurant visits. But with my current playstyle I can easily afford to lose a day.

What kind of bugs are we talking? I vaguely remember something extremely annoying/gamebreaking in regards to Sulani (where I wanted to place a restaurant), but didn't follow that back then. But if this issue only problematic for restaurant owners and not visitors, it might not concern me.

I voted Dine Out because you can use it with all of the worlds. I really have a lot of different restaurants.

You can probably make more of a pub and then set up a club centered on the activities that you want sims to do.

Dine Out is the best pack to own if you don't care for occult play, or treasure hunting. But it is a glitchy pack. I use a collection of ten mods that work together just so I can play it without freaking out. Retaurants have always been an important feature for the way I play. In case you decide to purchase Dine Out I will include the link to these mods. This modder has a massive list of mods, and I use many of them. I do enjoy occult sims, it's just that my current main save is very android (and to a lesser extent also alien) centered and I feel adding magic to that would be overkill. Not using it's main selling point for perhaps another rl year is what puts me off RoM at the moment, but in the long run I want all three packs.

Those are actually my three favourite game packs. I think they all are good to have.

Dine out : I enjoy sending my sims to restaurants on dates. I have never tried to run one but the game doesn't feel complete to me without them.

Jungle adventure : came as a complete surprise, I only got it as part of the bundle I made for seasons. I enjoy how it interrupts my sims daily life and really enjoy the atmosphere in selvadorada.

Realm of magic : another great pack, although it could have been a bit more challenging. I actually enjoy playing it at a slow pace. Just like strangerville I get more enjoyment out of it by not rushing through everything and keep my sims going on with normal life alongside the theme of the pack. But as you pointed out it needs mods to prevent townies from becoming spellcasters.
