Is anyone having a problem with prep task for gigs showing up?? I rarely get the gold rating for gigs. Even if I pass about half of the risky task for them. I figured it was because I wasn't doing the prep task. But most of the time the prep task for the gig im going to do don't even show up! I'll have it show up once and will start working on them (sometimes it will have like 3 prep task) and then when I finish that one, I go back to start on the others and see what they are, and there are no prep task. This is super aggravating because I can't get anywhere in the acting career!!
Yea I lost those features as well in my panel, I think its a bug.

Plus, it reduces the daily wait between gigs. Without going to the auditions, most gigs are the next day or the day after.
I love the acting career also but I can't play acting without it.

It is sad that a Global Superstar Actor isn't paid as well as ordinary jobs. I find it curious that the emphasis was on government jobs paying better. I could get full-on political, but I won't since that's against the rules. My teen hit Global Superstar before he aged up to YA. He has over §600K+ to date. He's quite rich. He holds concerts at §10K a pop (he can do this live or away, which is a rabbit hole), gets paid §5000 to do a photoshoot for a magazine cover (again this can be live or a rabbit hole you choose), §2500 for promoting a digital book or a song via his Simstagram account, and §500 to do exclusive interviews with the Paparazzi. We're not even talking about the royalties he makes from his 11 albums @ 750 per album, plus the individual music he turns out, which varies, plus the song lyrics he's written, which also varies.
If you're dead set on the acting career, I'm not sure if this mod will help you. But, it's great if you wanted a singer Sim. :)
I appreciate the suggestions (and your stories) I'll have to look into it. Not typically a fan of script mods that have to be updated frequently because of patches but I might have to give it a go. I just find it a shame that players have to turn to mods to fix official content. Especially when it seems like such a simple fix.
