Thanks for the reply! I agree, they can be pretty annoying...- montello38 years agoNew AceMy babies don't even last 1 day. I take a picture of the baby in the bassinet for memories' sake then age them up into bald toddlers with a nappy, then take a screenshot then dress them as a normal toddler.
- Evilfeline8 years agoSeasoned VeteranThe only thing I like about Sims 4 babies is how they look, not like the Sims 3 burrito baby (which I also usually aged up quickly too). I played some with babies in Sims 2. They were cute and there were some nice interactions, but even then I often aged them up when bored.

You're welcome. I think the game actually generates some babies that are fussier than others. I had twins once and one cried all the time and the other was mostly content. - sobenewbie8 years agoSeasoned AceMy sims are babies a long time, I use really long age settings, thanks to MC Command, which also lets me tweak the default needs of babies in game globally, so they are by default less needy. The Show Sims Info mod lets me see the age of any sim as well, so I know when they are ready to age up, if I don't want to wait on the game to autonomously do it.
- sweetonsims8 years agoSeasoned VeteranI like to wait for them to age up naturally - they are boring yes, but they are a challenge too. They eat, sleep, poop, need attention and cry for all of the above which is actually how it is in real life. So for the short time that they are babies, life revolves around them and their needs. Sims don't get enough sleep, don't get enough time for fun or skilling or anything else. So when they grow up it's a relief and a small victory that they were not taken away. When I'm not in the mood for them though I go play another house for a few days.
- Unless I am doing a specific story/challenge as soon as the babies are out they age up. I really don't like the baby stage.
- I don't let any of my sims age up naturally.
- BSAAWaifu8 years agoNew Acei age them up i can not deal with the babies. they're not fun to me. if they can fix them to be fun then i would play with them but there's nothing to do with them they're just a boring object to me
