The very small fish bowls and frog terrariums in base game and the insect terrariums in OR bother me, so smaller cages for rodents would too. I understand that it's good to have small fish bowls and frog/insect terrariums if you collect them and I know that pixels don't suffer and sims isn't too realistic, but I would have wanted to have more realism in the animals, because that would have made them more enjoyable for me to play with.
I don't have MFP, but if you could do more with the rodents I'd be more likely to get it. I liked it how in TS2 you could catch insects in a jar and also release them, and they could die and fishes could die in aquariums if you forgot to feed them and you needed to clean the aquariums at times. In TS4 I'm fine if the insects, fishes and frogs don't die since they are collectibles, but honestly I would love to be able to have a big frog/insect terrarium just like there are bigger aquariums available. And well yes, it would be fun to be able to feed them and clean the terrariums/aquariums.
