Depending on my storyline, I have been in the habit of having my teens graduate early. Mainly because otherwise, they are in high school for so very long. I also do have them in uni. I did so the first time, because I was curious to see how a teen fares in a dorm with the older kids, if you will.
I have also been playing the very same household for years. (Restarting for various reasons during this time.) One of the five children becomes a prominent Rock Star. Despite having his Music Career well on the way, his father insists all of the eligible kids (the fifth one truly is the baby of the family) attend university. For the Rock Star, he points out nothing is certain in life and while he's riding high now, it would be a great idea to have a degree to fall back on.
