Do you move your sims around a lot or stay "local"

When you're doing a Legacy Challenge do you stay in the same home or do you move around?  I'm asking because in my current game I'm trying to get to 10 generations. I'm halfway there, currently with...

I haven't played a legacy challenge since I started playing the game, but when I first got into the game, it was right when lilsimsie started her university let's play with her legacy sims. So I missed when she played 10 gems on that one lot in Oasis Springs. If I do play, I would want to move about into different worlds depending on the heir and their style and career
