Do you move your sims around a lot or stay "local"

I generally  move during legacies,  as the story bids me -- though I'll use family members to keep the house secure in case my Sim decides to move back.   I did one legacy where I was explicility trying to move neighborhoods every generation, as well as focus on an aspect of the game that didn't get touched on in other generations.
