Do you move your sims around a lot or stay "local"

My Sims usually move during legacies, but where and when depends on the story that's emerging.   I did one legacy where my goal was to move neighborhoods every single generation, and use that generation to focus on a unique aspect of the game (collecting gems,  running a ranch, etc).
